A terrible earthquake struck the Philippines today. The earthquake occurred at 2 o'clock in the afternoon today in the city of Maragusan municipality on the island of Mindanao in the country. The 6.0-magnitude earthquake shook buildings. Due to this, shocked people left their houses and took refuge in the streets.
Disaster officer Lynne Dollolasa said that nearly 300 people were forced to leave their homes in Andap village, where "a number of houses collapsed".
No casualties have been reported so far due to this earthquake. It is noteworthy that more than 50 thousand people died in the recent earthquake on the Turkey-Syria border.
